I followed the instructions posted by bab2000 in brighthand.com. I pressed the UP scroll button and then press and release the reset button. It took awhile and several tries but it worked. I then hotsynced and voila I am enjoying my palm TX again.
Thanks.

My nokia N79 is getting restarted frequently. kindly help & do the need full. Rgds Vara Prasanna

Mostly phone that keeps on restarting is due to lack of memory requirement that the phone needs. If your phone memory does too many data stored such as messages, video, games & application etc. it will not run smoothly and keeps restarting because it needs a space to generate any operation on your phone.

To get out of this madness, delete some files and stuffs of your so the available phone memory space will be free.If still the problem occur then you need to reset your phone. But before doing this be sure all files of yours are backed up because everything will be erase and then it will be back on original settings.

By doing reset, just type in *#7370# then wait until the phone restarts.

or you can do hard reset by long pressing ( * ) ( 3 ) ( call key ) then power the phone on (continue pressing the 3 keys and wait until the phone restarts.

Good luck....

Memory full delete some data or close some application

You need to Format or Reset your mobile.Even you delete some other files or erase everthing,it will keep popping on your screen that message.

this is due to phone memory corruption, this is happening when your phone free space memory is too low and can't be able to operate any functions on your mobile such as sending messages, taken photo or videos etc.and the result, phone is hanging, sluggish or phone is restarting.

To be able to fix this, here is a simple way to make your phone back to normal.

* On your Home screen, just type *#7370#. This process will reset, format your phone and it will go back to original settings. To make sure your file is kept.back up your contacts and other stuff cause all files will be deleted after this method.

hope this solution helps...

I have a nokia 6730c, that keeps saying phone memory full, delete some data i cant text or use functions because of this. The phone memory has 2.4mb free i have deleted loads, but it still comes up...

Most garbage comes from bad behaving third party application and it is impossible to tell which data is good and which is bad. You need to make hard reset, it empties all memories (including memory card).

So remove memory card, press *#7370# on the keyboard and hope for the best. Use external charger, so the phone does not run out of power, when it is programming itself.

Then you have brand new phone with 50MB of clean memory

Palm z22. wont startup without holding the up arrow key and doing a soft reset. Then Task icon wont load and some of the other applications wont load

Try doing a hard reset. Warning: A hard reset will erase everything on your device. All your data will be removed, and formats, preferences and other settings are restored to their factory default settings. Don't perform a hard reset unless you've backed up your data, or you're willing to lose everything.

Here are the directions:

  1. Press and hold the Power (on/off) button on the front panel of your device.
  2. While holding Power, use an unfolded paper clip, or the reset tool at the tip of your stylus. Gently press and release the RESET button inside the hole on the back panel of your device (where's the reset hole?).
  3. If you see a progress bar (see below), keep holding the Power button.
  4. Next, the Palm Powered screen will appear. Release the Power button when you see it.
  5. You'll see a screen that asks: Erase all data? YES = "up" button NO = any other button. Press UP on your 5-way navigator to complete the hard reset.

Your device will then take you through a series of screens to calibrate the digitizer and verify the time and date.
Note: A hard reset does not delete the current date and time. It does restore other settings to the factory default.
The progress bar On some devices, you may see a Palm or palmOne logo and a progress bar first. Do not release the Power button until the second, circular Palm Powered logo appears. From there follow the on screen directions and then do a HotSync. Best wishes

Keeps saying "Memory full" even though all my messages are deleted

Go to settings, applications, manage applications, click on an app in the list, click on Force Stop, click on Clear Data, you will receive a warning, proceed anyway. Repeat these steps for each app, then reboot the phone. Worked for me.

Palm tx

Fixed - Hotsync all your stuff to your desktop. Remove any cards, and do a cold boot (press reset while holding down power button)

Then synch everything back again. I'm never buying another palm again.
