Text becomes unreadable after one page of printing

When printing a document, the first page prints fine and then the print becomes illegible (faded and blurry) on subsequent pages. If I print on a higher quality setting, the text fades completely. This only occurs with the black ink which has a nearly full cartridge. HELP!

The printer is an A920. I've cleaned the black print cartridge, is there another "cleaning program" I can run? If so, how can I access it? Thanks.

try to run the cleaning program on the printer

seems to be a cartridge failure :S one thing is to try to replace the cartridge.

How to fix text from printing unevenly as if the roller was not rolling consistently?

Sorry, I don't have one. Mine was a different problem; incompatibility between my old hp desk jet 5650 and my new Mac Book Pro. Just needed a newer printer!
When something like what you describe happens it is because the cartridge is dry; I change the cartridge.

Anthony try removing the cartridge and gently tilting backandforth a few times. Re-install for good news!

My TLP 2824 has been installed on another computer with the same operating system ie Win 98. Now when I print a label it prints the first line fine then the subsequent lines fade to becoming unreadable

If it's setting issue, you need to turn up the darkness to make it darker prints on lines.

It sounds like settings issue, remember darkness & speed combination is important.

Cannot print emailed air confirmation page -- when I select print, the only thing printed is the top line, e.g., United airlines, but not the reservation information. After that first one line, only...

Copy the text into the NOTEPAD application, to remove all text-formatting & text-colouring, e.g., "white" text over a "black" background will become "black" text over a "plain" background.

Faded text every few lines- Canon printer

When you print photos you print in Max dpi, for this no faded lines anywhere. Probably you have a problem only in black color in print head.
Мay be it's partially clogged or partially defective.

Printing fades during the print job. Dark at beginning, gets lighter to unreadable.

Is the ink cart. good? If not, replace.
Are the Print Heads cleaned? If not, run the diag to clean.
Does this happen on all print jobs? (documents, images, etc..)
If not, then try to adjust the properties of the print driver to a lesser quality.
Sending higher quality print jobs takes up memory, try to increase your page file.

Scan views fine; prints fuzzy

Try to change the dpi to the maximum, maybe 600 dpi. This will make the picture more defined.

A940 printing issue

hmm..now..that sounds more like a software issue, than a hardware issue. Can you check on all version updates for the software from MSoft, and ensure that the drivers for your printer, by application, are up to date. From what I'm seeing, this MAY not be a printer issue.

and, if you want, we do this sort of service call remotely. see my link here for more on that.

There's a profile link on top right, that may be of some value, if this becomes unsolvable from your end.
