Mp3 player won't cut on

when you plug a charger to your mp3 it plays, because you power from a charger, part of current goes to aset and make it play and also charge your battery.
when you unplug it from charger than battery does not manage to provide power to set.
get a meter and set at amps dc. and check your battery current out side.
i suspect that your battery is not holding charge.

Charger doecnt work properly

On your computer, go to Start --> Control Panel --> Printers and Other Hardware --> System --> Hardware --> Device Manager --> and uninstall the item marked MTP device. It will be a bit tricky b/c the Sansa will cut in and out during this process.

Uninstall all Sansa software, and reinstall the clean version from Sandisk's website.

Vreative zen will not charge

I used to work in a IC design department where we disigned IC's for creative. It is a problemn of the lition ion charging circuit. When voltage drops under 0.9 volt (if I remember clearly) It will not detect
the battery anymore and wil not charge..
So, solution:
1 try to charge the battery manually for a short time, disassemble the vision and connect the battery to up to 3.7 volts. For a while, later your device can charge it further, by itself

Sansa e280 "frozen" won't turn off or respond to buttons pushed

I had the same freeze problem and after doing everything I could think of I read the downloaded user manual and found the answer was to hold down the menu button for 15 seconds. It acts as a power off button and cancels out the last operation thereby unfreezing the offending action.
