Hi there, Either clip on the door is faulty or its the door interlock in which the door locks into easily replaced by undoing the clip pullling back the door rubber and replacing ..

if it.s the inner door lock catch, that attached to the front door handle
yes it can be replaced, take photo and model number of machine
order from washing machine repair shop. or download manual from malefactors site for correct part number, ,or if you need a repair engineer ring for a quote first, how much will it cost to replace my hoover inner front door catch, good luck
sounds like the door lock mechanism. if this cannot signal it has engaged, to the board, no other function will work (you don't want the washer going with the door open, trust me :) )
Hi Thanks for using FixYa. The start and pre-wash usually flash due to a clogged
drain hose or the water pump. You’ll need to drain the water out of the
base and also check to see if there's something
stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually
located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine). If the
drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a
frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Please
do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further

The handle goes around that.
The spring goes around both, on the inside of the hook, facing the center of the door.
Hi John, it has been a while since i worked on one of these, but I might be able to talk you through it, first make sure you have the correct bits to replace. i.e. the inside of the handle and the latch match the same that is on that you can see before you go any further. using a torx size 15 I think remove the two screws on the door hindge, and then remove door by pushing up by a 1/4" then the hindge should pull away from the machine. using a torx size 10 then proceed to remove the four screws from the inside of the door frame, ease the door pannels appart and the glass bowl and lock should be exposed. there should be a further two screws holding the latch in place, just be careful when taken these out as they may be under load from a spring, note the positions of the latch and replace all back in reverse order. The door will not normally open if there is water left in the m.c. check pump, and make sure the belt is o/k, as some hoovers do not let you open the door if the belt has come off. Please leave feedback.
