These sets are known to have issues with the digital board. Parts can be bought from www.samsungparts.com The part isn't cheap. when it freezes up does the video stop then after so long the video goes blank then it comes back to normal. Sometimes unplugging them will make them work for a short time but after a few days to a week or so they start acting up again.

    We have a big write up about this model athttp://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/s... hlr__67W are known for digital board issues. ps. The first two numbers of the model number are screen size!

The video processor has garbage in it, and if you leave the set unplugged from the wall for 40 min., it will reset back to normal.

IMAC SCREEN FREEZES OR GOES BLACK.
same thing happens to me - most of the time it will just randomly freeze; occasionally i get an unresponsive black screen. this 24' aluminum imac usually has startup problems also - sometimes it will "gong" and nothing else; sometimes the apple logo will come up and then nothing else; sometimes it will load the logo and then spin for a few seconds and then freeze - the only option is to manually shut down. there is no rhyme or reason to it

If you are getting the screen freezing up it means that the graphics chip has overheated and to fix this you need to stop the heat build up to do this send it back in to Microsoft or repair it yourself using a good guide >> http://xbox-360-repair.weebly.com/
