Need to find new heater bar for a game saver turbo

The heater bar is too hot. Allow it to cool for a while before resuming sealing.

I had this problem with the Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner. This model does not have a motor head, but drives the brush bar with the air flow. The brush bar was spinning very fast and the head was not picking up any dirt. The outlet from the brush bar chamber was blocked and the entire air flow was being drawn through the turbo, making the brush bar spin very fast. The solution was to remove the brush bar and and clean the outlet from the brush bar chamber. Note that fluff building up on the filter disk (at the side of the turbo chamber) for the brush bar turbo can reduce the brush bar speed.

Well, more than likely the belt that drives the beater bar has stretched out of shape and you need to replace it. It is very cheap to fix and you can do it yourself.

The beater belt is broken. There are 4 phillips head screws on the outside (2 on top of the base on either side of the upright, and 2 on the front edge on the underside of the base near front edge). and 4 phillips head screws on the inside (holding the guard cover over the beater bar). The belt is about $3 (part number 38528040). Take out the beater bar and put the new belt around it. Then put the other end around the metal bar and stretch the belt taut as you position the beater bar back into its channel slots. Replace the guard and top cover and you should be good to go...

Take all the screws off the bottom to access the beater bar than slide out (belt will also be right there ) just slide a new one on......

I have finally fixed my sister's dyson dc 15 beater bar problem. It was just 2 tiny broken wires connect to circuit board lead to the beater bar. The wires broke where they go through the black rubber gommet. You need a torx screwdriver tx 15 to remove 2 plastic covers to access the wires. When looking at the front of the vacuum, the gray covers located on the right side of the vacuum. 1 big cover with a black rubber gasket and other small gray cover is on the rotating ball area.
This my new year resolution is to warn people not to buy Dyson vacuum cleaner ( Junk) design to break down! Shame on you Dyson!!!! Save your money find good old vacuum cleaner with metal parts.

It may just need an adjustment, or it may need new "sliders" for the transmission. If there is a service center in your area, they shouldn't charge much for this repair. Fortunately, it doesn't sound like you need a new transmission, just an adjustment and maybe a slight overhaul. It is a bit touchy, and quite difficult to explain how to do it yourself. Again, it shouldn't be too expensive.
