If it's still under warranty, take it in for repair/replacement.

Black screen

The problem could be in the Monitor, Computer or Cable. Did you try to connect another monitor or can you try to connect another computer (maybe a laptop) to that monitor?
It's important to understand where to start.
Thanks

My Dell E773c Monitor's image is like a "hyperbola" wider at the top and bottom and narrower in the middle. The Horizontal adjustments do not do anything to correct the problem, Help!!!!

Try to do a factory reset (look up "recall" in the manual, or here: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/monitors/e773c/EN/ug/setup.htm).
If this does not help, you need to adjust the geometry settings (H/V position, H/V size, rotation, trapezoid, parallelogram, pincushion and pin balance) using the monitor's settings menu. Expect a long afternoon of fiddling around until you get a satisfactory result. A test picture for geometry settings could be of help.

Make sure your computers video setting does not exceed the monitors specification of 1152 x 864 @ 75 Hz.

Screen settings

Hello,

You want to recall the factory settings. There should be an entry in your menu for this. Sometimes its clearly indicated as 'reset' sometimes it is a word that means much the same, such as 'recall'.

The numbers you posted that have a 'K' at the end are settings for the white color temperature. This is an old label from the early days of TVs. One is better than the other for graphics vs clarity. Usually you want the higher setting.

Other wise, if you can't locate the reset option. Go into each setting for Contrast, Brightness and set Contrast 50 and Brightness 100, the others affect the position of the display and how square it is. Set all those values for trapazoid, etc to 0.

Anything else you need clarification on please comment back and I will validate or correct your instincts on what is the reset option command if you are unsure about what is being displayed.

Regards,
Worldvet
