Not a good sign... reboot, and try again, if no display but audio, then check HDMI cable or whatever source cable you have by wiggling it to see if video comes back, if no, then most likely repair..
i really dont think you have the bypass connected right cause your still being blocked on your screen... re check your wiring maybe something connected wrong or bypass is defective...
The set is shutting down the CRts for protection which is almost always a vertical deflection failure with that chassis if the audio still remains working when the pic drops out. Replacing the deflection board should solve the issue. You can get the ITC222A deflection board PSB260 from www.tvrepairworld.com
Clearly, the screen needs to be -pitch- black and the audio needs to be -awesome-. Maybe if you create a problem in the exact category of whatever it is you think went wrong (Windows, a program, hardware...) and explain the circumstances people can help you get to a desired state. Don't forget to do your own footwork in describing things correctly and looking for known solutions (e.g. it's stuffy inside, windows need to be opened; computer won't run in hot house, get central A/C.)
the light engine is defective and needs to be changed..this set is not that old..contact mitsubishi customer relations to see about having it done under a customer accomodation, as they have had a lot of problems with the engines
