It took me a bit to figure out how to get the music to play. The instuctions that came with it weren't very clear.
* Hold arrow "on" button down to turn on player.
* Use rocker (knob on top) to move to the mode you want. For example, move the indicator to "music".
* Push in on the rocker, not the arrow "on" button to select the music mode.
* Use the rocker to select the song you want to hear, then push arrow "on" button to play.
You have to make sure your songs are MP3 or Unprotected Windows Media Audio files. You can check this by right clicking the song, go to Properties, it will tell you the type of file, make sure its says MP3 or the song is not compatible with the unit. Below is a link on how to add songs through windows media player:
And when you run it, click the checkbox for "Format Data Area." When the message comes up saying you want to delete all the files, click "yes-" it's worth deleting all your songs if it works properly afterwards. You'll have to re-sync your songs and the downloads take forever, but it works.
SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO CONNECT YOUR MP3 player to your computer open the music folder from the mp3 delete every song then try and down load the music from your computers music library
Hi there, one of the problems you have is that there is not much you can access from via your phone, so often the easiest (although not speediest) solution is to re-upload the songs. Have you tried adding another song, playing it, and seeing if that song will play successfully? If it does, then I would suggest deleting the other songs, and uploading them to your phone again.
If this is not possible (because you downloaded them straight from mobile network), upload them to a PC and see if the songs will play - if they do, save them to PC, reformat your card (my computer -> right click on card name -> format) and then put them back on your phone. Unfortunately if they wont play on PC either, the chances are they have been corrupted and you may have to contact your download source for a refund or new copies.
If after trying these options you are still stuck, try a) a mates memory card in your phone, and b) your memory card in a mates phone. If a works and b doesnt, contact your memory card supplier. If b works and a doesnt, then contact your phone manufacturer.
Hope this helps and isnt too confusing - Chris.
