Reboot the computer in safe mode (tap F8 during the HP splash screen and choose safe mode from the menu selections). When the computer comes up to the user name, change it to administrator and no password. As long as you have not added an administrator password to this account, the computer should finish booting. Now go into control panel and use accounts. Remove the password from your user account (do not change, since you do not know the current password). Reboot the computer and your user account should load with out a password. You can add a password by going back in to control panel and user accounts.

you cannot login to the computer. to recover data use a linux live cd and copy data into an external hard disk.

You'll need to access you router via internet explorer or your preferred web browser by doing the following:
-Turn on your router
-connect router to modem (DSL or cable?)
-connect PC to router port (use 1-4)
-type 192.168.1.1 in your address bar to bring up the routers user interface
-user name is "admin" and password is "admin". You may be able to leave user name blank and just type the password to access the user interface.

Once you're in, it's pretty easy to navigate through the tabs and find that option. Be sure to PRINT your settings and tape them to the bottom of the router so you don't forget, otherwise you'll have to reset the router and do it all again.

Because your name and password are already in used. Please try another one a unique one for you to have a Email ad again.

If you are sure you have the correct password, I would start with changing your user name that you are signing in with. Sometimes yahoo seems to want the "@yahoo.com" with the user name, and sometimes it does not.

If adding or removing the "@yahoo.com" part of the user name doesn't help, go through the "forgotten user name and password" steps.

go into user tolls, system settings, administrator tools, address book management. or use you web browser and for an address type in the IP address of ur machine and log in. the default user name is admin with no password then click on address book.

if you did not put a password then try just hitting Enter or Return on the password line

Usually your user name will do or "Administrator" (note the capitals letters)

password line will be blank

if all fails then try goin into safe mode by tapping F8 key while booting up computer and selecting Administrator, then once inside the computer you can remove the password from control panel / User account section.
