Remote codes I cannot find any remote codes to enable my Comcast cable remote to operate my haier tv I can find haier tv codes for my cable remote control Cannot find code for any universal remote control.

Follow these steps to program the remote control.

1. Turn on the component to be programmed.
2. Press the SET button.
3. On the remote control, press the appropriate component button.
4. Using the number pad, enter the component's manufacturer code.

NOTE: If more than one code number is listed for the manufacturer, repeat the procedure, entering one code at a time until you find one that works.


5. Press the ENT button.
6. Point the remote control at the component.
7. Press the POWER button to verify operation.

there is an auto search method....some remotes you can hold the tv button down and then the select button simultanteously for a few seconds to make the light turn red and then proceed with codes, when you get the right code you press the select button again, the light blinks and you are done..... well with out a code its the luck of the draw..... the auto search method is similar to programming the code in....hold the tv button and the select button for a couple seconds until the tv button lights up, but instead of a code.....press the channel up button(that represents the first autosearch code), continue until the tv turns itself off and then press the select button to lock it into the remote...........if you go past the trigger point you can channel down to backtrack.... otherwise drop it in the toilet until it wont work, call the cable company and have them send out a tech with anew remote. they cant charge you for their equipment not working correctly.
trust me, i am a supervisor at a major cable company.

i have the same problem and still looking for the code :( but for the mean time i just hook up my digital box to the tv threw the video inputs. hope this helps you.

1. Turn on your device (i.e. TV).

3. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED for the selected device flashes twice, then RELEASE.

Problem has not be resolved, but after reading your response I understand that you are offering me help but at a cost., I find that unbelievable because I just purchased this TV haven't had it 2 weeks., and you can't even tell me if there any more codes to try and make my digital cable service remote work.
