In google search, type in the words "the word "factory on my tv", and it comes up with solution..it worked first time for me!.. Bill

I have two haier LED LCD televisions with all the screens broken. they are 39'' and 32''. I would like to ask where I can get the screens to buy in order to fix them. Thank you.

I called tech support and they said to hold down the display button (the one that normally pops up the channel that you're on). I tried it and it worked even though none of the buttons got a response. It's definitely worth giving it a try!

Contact Haier for customer service---they will step you thru the process--note that this information usually in their sets is also in the owner manual--if lost that Google the model number with "manual".

There is a way to program the comcast universal remote to the TV. If you still have the programming instructions, use the automatic search/ program function instead of manualy entering the product code. This usually works better since some TV manufacturers sell the same TV under other product names. Good luck. Please leave positive feedback if my answer is useful. Good luck

If none of the codes work then we have two other solutions:

1. Searching For Your Code

If you have tried all of the set-up codes for your brand of equipment ,or your brand is not listed, and you are still not able to get the unit to respond, try the following procedure to search for your code.
If you don't find a code that works, the remote will flash four times when you reach the end of all the codes for this device type.

1. PRESS the button for the device you want to program, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), then RELEASE.
2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
3. ENTER 9-9-1 (two blinks on the remote)
4. ALTERNATE slowly between the POWER key and the DEVICE (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.) button until your device turns off. (On VCR, LD, and CD players use PLAY instead of POWER)
   Make sure that the remote is pointed at your device during the search, You may have to press this sequences of buttons up to 100 times to search the entire library of codes.
5. When your device turns OFF, PRESS the SETUP button and RELEASE it to lock in the code for your device.

2. Learn the buttons from the original

Line up your original remote and the head-to-head before completing the following steps.

1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice.
2. PRESS 9 - 7 - 5, the red LED will flash twice.
3. PRESS the DEVICE key where you wish to learn the function. The next 3 steps must be completed within 10 seconds.
4. PRESS the button that will receive the learned function, the LED will flash rapidly.
5. PRESS the button on the original remote to be learned.

Now you can repeat steps 3 through 5 to learn other functions onto other keys or press and hold SETUP until the Cinema's red light flashes twice to lock in your new feature. (If the red light does not blink twice, stop and repeat steps through 6).
To test the new feature, press and release the device key in which the new feature was learned followed by the key on which the feature was learned

It sounds as if you have accidentally turned on your secondary audio settings.
Here is how to fix it....
On your original TV remote next to the "0" key there is a button marked "sound". Press this button until the TV says stereo.

This should fix your problem.

there is an auto search method....some remotes you can hold the tv button down and then the select button simultanteously for a few seconds to make the light turn red and then proceed with codes, when you get the right code you press the select button again, the light blinks and you are done..... well with out a code its the luck of the draw..... the auto search method is similar to programming the code in....hold the tv button and the select button for a couple seconds until the tv button lights up, but instead of a code.....press the channel up button(that represents the first autosearch code), continue until the tv turns itself off and then press the select button to lock it into the remote...........if you go past the trigger point you can channel down to backtrack.... otherwise drop it in the toilet until it wont work, call the cable company and have them send out a tech with anew remote. they cant charge you for their equipment not working correctly.

Hi,

The parental control is on in your TV,

To unlock the parental control on your TV, that has a blue screen and a red padlock on the top left hand side, hold down the display button on the remote for 10 seconds .

And once you get into TV, you can switch off the parental control by to menu using the remote and child lock...

You cannot unlock the unit without an original remote.

The universal remote will have to be programed to the set,if the remote is new,it should come with the list of brands,and how to program the remote.

it depends upon the model, when you buy the remote there's a list of the unit that you may used into it. and also indicates there the code, just follow the instruction
