Can't program cable remote to operate tv.

If you have the program guide to the remote and all the codes in it does not work try the auto search method (even if your TV is not listed in the guide), sometimes that will work, if it does not some TV's for some reason do not program to all remotes. If you do not have the code book go to ComCast.com and in the search box type in remote control programming.

It can be solved, but you have to buy a universal remote, and not use the comcast remote.

Try adding 1 to the front of the code. 10054 worked for me. Hope this helps.
