Hello i have a lexmark x2350 and i cannot install on a windows vista. how do i go about it cos i have the software but written on it x2300 i tried to but its not installing.

Try to re-install the printer driver on your computer. Before you install the new driver, make sure to uninstall the existing X2350 printer driver first. On your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark X2300 Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. Reboot your pc when prompted.

When your computer turns on, visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X2350 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation. Try to print a document again to verify that the printer is properly installed.

You might want to uninstall the existing Lexmark X2350 driver from your computer first. Go to Start menu -> All Programs -> Lexmark X2300 Series -> Tools -> Uninstall. Reboot pc when prompted.

Lexmark X2350 Injet All-In-One Printer, product "discontinued" so there is no official Win7 drivers for this model from LEXMARK.

Try this workaround using the "Vista" drivers to install the printer.
1. Disconnect your printer from your PC.
2. Uninstall the any previous drivers & software from the PC.
3. Use a Registry Cleaner to clean up any of remnants in the registry.
4. Install the "Vista drivers" & Software. (You may have to 'Run As Administrator')
5. Then plug in your Printer & power on, and let Windows search for the drivers.

Now, there's no Lexmark X2350 driver specific for Windows 7, however, the Vista driver works with it. Go to Lexmark.com and check on a vista update, most of the older software simply does not work with vista.

Download driver from lexmarks web rather than using the cd, delete old install and unplug usb before installing new driver
