My psp light for the memory card keeps flashing orange.

If you dont have issues playing your usual psp games, you dont have to worry about the orange light. That is normal. It means that your PSP is saving the data to your memory stick. Also make sure that your WLan switch is turned off ( that also causes a blinking orange light ). However, if you are experiencing a flickering orange light and your screen remains black ( and you cannot play any games), it means that your PSP is having issues reading you memory card.
Do these:
Remove the memory card and turn your PSP on without the memory card (it should turn on with no problems) Now, slowly re-insert your Memory stick. (You may need to do this several times until your PSP recognizes your memory card) If this still does not work, your Memory stick is busted or may be infected with a virus and therefore needs to be replaced.

the memory stick isn't connecting properly. the connectors on the card are bent in a little. so lighlty bend the card in the direction towards the metal connections , have the connectors facing on the inside of the bend.

i've done this before with my psp when the memory card was having the same troubles. the card works properly ever since.

It's not so easy to erase PSP OS and if even you do it you wil brick your PSP(Your screen will be black when you will turn on it and only green light will flash few times.) I think you have bad memory stick or something like that. Because you are browsing memory stick and not PSP when you connect PSP to computer. Check if you have memory stick inside your PSP. Try to format memory stick in PSP. You can also try to restore PSP deafult settings. If you have Card Reader try to read and format card on computer. If nothing helps buy new memory stick.

its bricked. youll need a pandora battery to get it back to normal.

If the card works ok on other systems but not your PSP it sounds liek an issue with the PSP. You can try another card just to be sure. You could also try updating your system software on the PSP to see if that helps at all.

probably the games are copied in another folder.

I had this problem. 1 day it was working then it wasnt. Re format it in windows as NTFS then move it to your psp and reformat it there. Hope this works for you

tryying to insert an 16 gig memory.

minimum is 1 gig
then normal is 4 gig
next to is is 8 gig but it run slow

chage that to 4 or 8

or u can dl memory backker for psp

google it.

it enables a sony psp to read an 16 gig and faster 8 gig.
