Samsung RB1955SW refrigerator is not cooling

Evaporator may b toast. Condensor coils cud b dirty. If theres a steady throb probly ok. Gettn it fixd can cost as much as good used one. Unplug it for awhile n see if it reboots

I think that is your temperature setting that you set it it or could be the temperature in the case

I think you might need to replace it and if you still have a reciet that could be usful or they might fix it just call up the store

I remember that kind of symptoms happens before on my side by side ref..Try to check the coil on refrigerator side if it is iced up ..

Take this steps on how to:

1. Open the refrigerator side.
2. Remove the 11 screws on it..
3. Get the hair drier..
4. use the hair drier to slowly melt the iced behind the cover.

Note: If you pull too hard and or too soon you'll break the Styrofoam ducting that has to be around the coil. then make sure that the drain line is clear reassemble..

You should be able to reboot to system by unplug for 5mins. Then plug back in . It will preform a system check then display any codes. On back is a troubleshooting guide. I hope this helps.

My fridge turns on when it's plugged in but shuts off hours later for some reason and looses cool temp. I unplugged and plugged in the fridge again and it worked but shut off again hours later. What's with that?

try defrosr timer or element..

Replace the thermostat . The piece that the dial temperature adjustment is on . Cannot find the model number you gave , or I could give you the part number .

Call Samsung. I had the same problem when Best Buy delivered mine. The delivery people left the fridge in demo mode. The people at Samsung will talk you through it, it is very simple. The fridge should work fine then.
