My all in one psc keeps flashing the e for error warning light and message check paper and print cartridges, i have put in a new colour and black cartridge and ensured plenty of paper and no paper jams, but error light and messages still appear, can someone please help
My printer is flashing E and saying paper jam check paper. I have and there is no paper jam. It will take paper through if I push the paper in further but it will not print or copy because of the error. Any suggestions?

To be able to understand the problem, you should give extra info about the lights. Please find the information below about the status lights that provide information about error conditions of your printer.But first you need to install the driver for your operating system. The drivers are necessary to print documents and scan images. These drivers must be installed to use the print and scan features.
If the On light, Check Print Cartridge light, Check Paper light, and Start Copy, Black and Start Copy, Color lights are all flashing, do the following: 1 Verify that the front-panel overlay is attached to the HP PSC. 2 Turn your HP PSC off and on by disconnecting the power cord and reconnecting. Problem 1:“ON” light is on, “check paper” light is blinking and “check print cartridge light” is off .
Explanation 1:The paper tray is empty, the HP psc has a paper jam, or the paper size setting and paper in paper tray are not the same. Solution 1: • Load paper, or remove thepaper jam. • Change paper in paper tray to correct size. • Change paper size on the computer software. Then press On/ Resume to continue. NOT : PLS SEE THE NEXT MESSAGE. CONTINUED AS THE COMMENTS BELOW:

The following has to be done for checking the Blank Ink Catridge working :
01. Remove the existing Black catridge and Color Catridges from the Printer carefully.
02. Clean the location with a soft cloth with cleaning liquid to make the place dust free.
03. Put the correct black and colour cartridges recommended by HP and that too genuine one.
04. Do not use any refilled or reinked local catridges that will spoil the HP PSC 2210 printer.
05. Re-install the catridges both Black and Colour properly.
06. Take a test print out - both black and colour print outs.
07. Check the Printer status and there is no warning of Cartridges wrongly inserted.

IF YOU GO TO THE HP SITE AND PLUG IN YOUR MODEL NUMBER THERE IS INFORMATION THE ON HOW TO RESET HP PRINTERS. THE FLASHING LIGHTS ARE THE SAME AS AN ERROR WARNING AND YOUR PRINTER MAY JUST NEED TO BE RESET. I KNOW ON A 1300 SERIES IT WAS A COMBINATION OF HITTING THE ON SWITCH AND THE PAPER SIZE SWITCH ON STARTUP, AND WAITING FOR THE LIGHTS TO TURN SOLID. YOU SHOULD FIND YOUR RESET ONLINE. HP IS PRETTY GOOD WITH THEIR ONLINE MANUALS, AND YOU CAN PLUG THE FAULT INTO THE SEARCH BLOCK AND IT WILL PUT YOU INTO THE TROUBLESHOOTING PAGES.
replace the colour cartridge aLSO AS IT NEEDS some specific colour to start this allignment and to complete but the colour is not getting printed so this error.
remove the cartridges from the printer.unplug the printer for some time.then again ON it and insert the cartridges and try .
sometimes it helps.
As a refiller, I've seen this many times. Usually it happens in the multifunction machines. If you put that cartridge in a stand alone printer, it will work good. HP all in ones blow a resistor in the cartridge making it useless to any all in one machine. Sadly, it is time to buy new.
