I'm trying to update the message on our night mode feature on the Dterm80. What do i do?

ok that might work but now I have another question before I can do that!

The screen on the phone is currently reading:

    SYS. STA. UP DOWN

I can't seem to get it to exit from this screen!! I tried using the "Exit" button and even the "Help" button... also, I unplugged it, hoping it would reset but it will not.

    What do I do to get it back to the normal screen where I can see the regular functions that follow the order;

    LVMSG MORE

    SETUP MGR

    CHBX GREET SCHED MORE

    Thanks in advance!!!

I unplugged the grey chord (it's the only wire connected to the phone) several times, and waited a couple minutes (as stated) but this did not work.

    Is there another way??

do you know of another way to reset since neither unplugging the chord & plugging back NOR dialing #66 worked???

    thank you!

I called the voice mail and it asked for my personal security code, I dialed the * key as you said but it just told me that the "security code is not valid" and then pushed me through to the general voice mail message. I also tried hitting the * key again when in the voice mail but that did not work either. I tried calling my voice mail the normal way BUT couldn't figure out how to reset that way either. :( Is there another way?? We desperately need to update this system! Is there a combination of keys i can press to reset it??

Thank you in advance for all of your help.

How to deactivate camp line on Necv Dterm80

The LCD screen of my DTerm80 was showing a "CAMP-ON" message along with someone else's name. I fixed it by pushing the "Exit" button then the second softbutton, under "Clbk", then the first softbutton, under "All". I received the message ""CLEAR CALLBACK CAMP CANCEL"

Fixed my problem.

Setting a message on my Dterm80 phone

You have to dial a feature access code to record and play back messages on a circuit card. Press the volume button up or down while the handset is in the cradle. This should fix the LCD.

Trying to change night ringer voicemail

Ok. You will have to find someone who has access to system manager, or has system manager rights for their mailbox.

They will then be able to select System Manager Options, then Change the Greetings. It will tell you which mode you are in, and ask you if you want to change to Holiday Mode. The responses are 1 for YES and 2 for NO. Say no to Holiday Mode, and then it will go thru Day Mode and then Night Mode, playing each one first then asking if you want to change it.

If you must call in a service order with your phone system vendor, make sure he/she not only assigns someone's box with manager access, but also creates a back-door box with manager access. This way you won't be messing with the original Manager Box. It gets expensive having NEC decipher the Manager's password if it gets changed and no one remembers it.
