Trying to change night ringer voicemail

We cant figure out how to change the night ringer voicemail on our NEC Dterm80 model phone..can someone please help me!

    we are trying to change the recording for our night mode.we turn it on when we leave for the night.

    I did this but the voicemail I tried to change, comes up still when I put the phone in NIGHT mode.

    Please give a little more detail.

    Are you trying to change the amount of rings before transfering to voicemail?

    Are you trying to change the greeting once voicemail picks up?

    Are you trying to take it out of night mode?

Ok. You will have to find someone who has access to system manager, or has system manager rights for their mailbox.

They will then be able to select System Manager Options, then Change the Greetings. It will tell you which mode you are in, and ask you if you want to change to Holiday Mode. The responses are 1 for YES and 2 for NO. Say no to Holiday Mode, and then it will go thru Day Mode and then Night Mode, playing each one first then asking if you want to change it.

If you must call in a service order with your phone system vendor, make sure he/she not only assigns someone's box with manager access, but also creates a back-door box with manager access. This way you won't be messing with the original Manager Box. It gets expensive having NEC decipher the Manager's password if it gets changed and no one remembers it.

You really need an administrator for the Voicemail to reset the password.

Try this.

From an admin phone, enter the voicemail. Then select More, Mgr, ChBox, then enter the ext# you need to reset the password on. Then choose Reset Password (Select Yes when the system asks you if want to reset the password). You can access the reset extension's voicemail by entering the default code (0327).

How do outside callers get my voicemail instead of the operators voicemail?I have a NEC Dterm80 phone model DTH-8D-2BKTEL.
Outside callers, only get an operators voicemail, when your phone can't be reached. For whatever reason. No contact to a cell, switched off, airplane mode, you name it.
Then when you have contact to the provider, you should setup your voicemail, the way your provider would like you to do.

How to disable do not disturb on NEC Dterm80 phone?
Have a coworker call your extension to see if DND is on, they will go straight to voicemail or get a fast busy. Speaker 42 may be the default cancel DND code, depending on your system and whether the codes were changed. Anyway, ringing is set up in system programming. If someone calls your extension it will likely ring, but outside calls have to be assigned to ring in system programming. Usually need a tech to do the programming since it gets complicated very quickly.

How do I shut off the blinking light on the handset to my cordless phone. I have tried everything. I believe its called a visual ringer. Blinks all night
Is the visual ringer or the message light? If it's the message light then you have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

To here ring types hit speaker then 711, then 1 for internal rings (select 2 for outside ring selection) then 1-8 the ring type.
To set ring type hit speaker then 720 (follow all the steps above).

If it stays on till 10 than the clock on the voicemail is wrong. it is still an hour behind.
access system manager mailbox enter password
listen for manager options 1=yes 2= no
listen for schedule changes 1
listen for time, would you like to change it 1
enter new time.
