My typewriter is stuck at the left margin. I

My guess would be that the left and right margins are set at the same place. Try resetting the right margin and see if that's the problem. I used to experience this a lot with kids playing with the typewriter.

Right margin

Hi:

On all IBM Wheelwriters the right margin can always be typed through. The only indication you will get when you reach the right margin is a beep tone. To set the right margin, space to the desired point and depress the right margin key once.

Wheelwrite 10 stuck in the middle

It sounds like the left margin is set in the middle of the page, return to the stopping place, press margin release then backspace to the place where you wany the left margin and press l. margin key.

If that dosen't do it remove the batteries and unplug the machine for a minute or two all settings will go to defalt. CAUTION ALL THE MEMORY WILL BE CLEARED!!!
