Hi,
When I attempt to print with my C88 printer, I am getting large bands of all the colors printing over each other. The text is printed, it is covered by the bands of color.
I do have Epson Ink Cartridges in it, I installed new ones.
Of course, I am needing to print something for my Sister as she is making a presentation at her church this evening.
If you could help I would really appreciate it..

Hi Siramoju,
Apparently ink cartridges I had previously ( I have changed the cartridges when this problem occurred) leaked. The entire bottom of the printer is ink soaked, the sponges are all soaked. Therefore, I am unable to attempt any other fixes at this time. I understand I need to replace the sponges and clean all the ink from my printer prior to attempting to print again.
I appreciate you responding.
Thank You.
I have exactly the same problem described by Peggy JD.
Began without warning. Reinstalling driver, different cables,
made no difference.
Has anyone come up with a fix?
Thanks.

I've got the same problem as above. My printer will print perfectly fine when printing text documents, or if I set the printing preferences to gray scale, but if I try to print anything with any color at all I get a page filled with bands of colored ink layered over themselves. I've tried changing ink cartridges and all the cleaning I can think of, but nothing changes. Unlike the above poster though, my cartridges are not leaking in any way, and there is no ink covering any part of the inside of the printer...
