SD card error in non-new Z20fd

It's an electrical devise. There are made by people and sometimes do that. I would replace it. Even with the right software it won't be reliable.

Having gone a month without a response to my query, I assume it was just the SD/SDHC mismatch as I suggested.

Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com

Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.

Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.

In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.

Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.

Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

In the menu of your camera you should be able to format your card. Make sure the little tab on your card is not in the protect position.

Try doing a "format" of the card through the set-up menu.

Generally, it's not possible to move images from internal memory to a memory card, which poses a problem because you can't connect that camera to your computer.

Most digital cameras keep the internal memory separate from the memory card. Not sure why, but they do.

It's unlikely that you'll be able to get those photos off, if the camera isn't recognized by the computer.

Ah.. Error13! Not again! Anyways this is a very common problem in all kinds of players that have USB support. Error 13 means device communication error usually due to power failure. Looks like some loose contact inside this player. Taking it apart and rewiring will fix the issue..

i had the same problem

The PIC or EEPROM inside these cards may not be working. I guess you best bet is to buy a new one try Kingston brand or go with another Sandisk.

CD will not go in dis slot
