Description to pins of a car radio
Starting at the upper right (UR1) when looking at the rear of the unit: UR1 is 12v power; LR1 is ground; UR2 = Ignition power; LR2 = Panel light lead; UR3 = Unused; LR3 = Power Antenna lead; UR4 & LR4 = Right front speaker; UR5 & LR5 = Right rear speaker; UR6 & LR6 = Left rear speaker; UR7 & LR7 = Left front speaker; UR8 & LR8 = Unused.

Try checking your fuses. If the radio doesn't come on a code is not going to do any good. As far as I know these radios don't require codes anyway.
Radio stations wont store once
if the unit only looses radio station presets then there is a defect with the unit. if the unit looses all its memory, (clock, stations, settings) then there is an issues with your aux power. basically you have the main power connect properly so it turns on the unit while the cars is on but the aux power keeps those settings.
