What does the yellow camera with the yellow exclimation point to the left mean? how do i get rid of it. it was not there for some time, showed up and no matter what setting, etc is changed, it does not go away.
I cant change the flash using the flask icon arrow on the back screan anymore.
I have an S1000fd and to get rid of the yellow camera icon with the exclamation mark next to it I pushed the button on the side of the flash to pop the flash up. Its a low light level indicator basically.
The yellow camera icon means you have the camera set in "hi speed shooting" mode (check index in manual...page 82 I believe). The exclamation point (sideways?) is the "white balance" indication (try page 81). Sounds like during some poking around the menus, a couple of things have been set away from the "normal" settings. Go to the setup menu and find "reset". That should put things back to the factory defaults settings.
On a Fujifilm fine pix z : to remove the yellow camera icon with the yellow
exclimation mark to the left of it, simply press the flash selector button
with the lightning bolt icon on it a couple of times to select another flash
setting. The yellow camera icon is "supperssed flash option" press the
lightning bolt icon button twice to select "auto flash".
On the S1000 what it means is that you are currently taking a photo n a setting with a high risk of blurring. If changing settings (have you tried landscape (sport) setting?) then you might be able to fix the problem just by cleaning the lens and the indicator light (between lens and shutter button) basically play with it until you find a setting that best suites the situation. And if it continues to show up but your pictures are not showing up blurry then you can either learn to ignore it or send it in to be replaced (which doesn't seem necessary)
