KLH Model 35 AM/FM turntable combo

Have a KLH Model 35 AM/FM turntable combo, and I am repairing some damaged components on the power supply inside. Looking for a wiring diagram. Does anyone have the Service Manual and are you willing to scan and share the schematic ? Thanks.

SOURCE: KLH subwoofer Model BASSBite V. Has a bad 60Hz buzz

Before you go throwing money at this problem, try to eliminate any external influences like track lighting. I myself am trying to figure out why mine makes a buzz throughout my system when the lights are on. I already replaced the variable light control with no improvement.

Bad cable ground can let airborne electronic noise into the Sub's amp.

SOURCE: My KLH subwoofer (model ASW8-120B) has stopped

It's unlikely that you can find a shop to repair it for less than the replacement cost ($75ish for a comparable KLH or Sony sub)

If you're up for doing your own soldering, here's a solution for the same problem with the same amp.

If this helps, please hit the "thumbs up" for me!

What is the wire harness on a Maytag epic z front load washer?

In the Maytag MHWZ400TQ01 washer model, the wire harnesses refer to the various electrical connectors and wiring throughout the machine. They connect the different components, such as the control board, motor, sensors, and other electrical parts.
To locate the wire harnesses and check them for any issues, you'll typically need to access the inner components of the washer. Here are some steps to follow:
  1. Unplug the washer: Ensure the washer is disconnected from the power supply for safety.
  2. Remove the top panel: Look for screws at the back of the washer holding the top panel in place. Remove these screws and slide the top panel backward or lift it up, depending on the model, to access the internal components.
  3. Locate the wire harnesses: Once the top panel is removed, you should see various wire harnesses connected to different components. They are typically bundles of wires with connectors at the ends. These connectors plug into corresponding receptacles on the components.
  4. Inspect the wire harnesses: Check each wire harness for any signs of damage, such as loose connections, frayed wires, or connectors not properly seated. Ensure all connections are secure and properly plugged in.
  5. Repair or replace as needed: If you find any damaged wire harnesses, you may need to repair or replace them. Repairing involves fixing loose connections or re-crimping connectors. If a wire harness is severely damaged, it's best to replace it with a new one.
As for obtaining a diagram or parts list specific to your washer model, it's recommended to visit the Maytag website or contact their customer support. They can provide you with the necessary documentation or direct you to resources that can help you identify and locate the parts in your washer.
Remember to exercise caution when working with electrical components and ensure the washer is completely disconnected from the power supply before performing any inspections or repairs. If you're unsure or uncomfortable with these procedures, it's best to consult a qualified technician for assistance.

My hoover optima washing machine is tripping my electricity supply. Have tried disconnecting heating element and looking for damaged wires.

Ian if the circuit breaker is a rcd it will trip off the supply if it
normally detects a very small leakage or unbalance of around 35 m /amps this could be a small water leak onto live parts in the machine or a minute short to earth on one component ,make sure all parts are dry / is it tripping when you switch power on to machine or does it trip when machine is in cycle mode.
1. its as first suggestion 2. it's a component like pump or drive motor that;s causing problem. hope this is of some help,g.luck

Free schematic diagram

You may not be able to get a schematic. You need to be able to troubleshoot electronics without a schematic. Check where the AC cord connects to the circuit board. In general there should be a fuse and a transient suppressor. Next will be the transformer if there is one or rectifier diodes. These usually fail in a lightning strike. There is also the probability of other component failures, but you won'y know that until you repair these components.

The turntable will not work. Help!!!! It is model number mmv4205bas

Fisrt check that there are no crumbs or other obstructions on the floor of the oven that would prevent the turntable assembly from rotating properly. Also try removing the plate and lifting up / checking the drive assembly inside the oven cavity to make sure that the turntable drive mechanism has not become disengaged from the motor shaft underneath.

If your problem is not something inside the oven cavity itself, then it may be the result of a simple loose wire to the turntable motor, or it may be a completely burned out motor altogether. Unfortunately the only way to determine the exact source of the problem for sure is to disassemble the unit and troubleshoot the components and connections inside.

A microwave contains a number of very hazardous components such as the main capacitor which can deliver lethal shocks even after the unit has been unplugged. Extreme care should be taken in the disassembly and maintenance of any microwave oven and should be left to a trained technician whenever possible.

Here is a link to the parts diagrams and price lists for your model:

http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5174676

The turntable drive motor is listed as part number 27 on the diagrams. Here is a link to the part details including price for that item if required:

Hope that was helpful. Good luck and take care.

Turn table doesn't turn. The middle peg doesn't move.

The microwave oven does not have a drive belt for the turntable. The component you describe that the carousel plate sits on its called the turntablel shaft or turntable coupler and it is attached to the turntable motor. This problem is commonly caused by a turntable motor that has worn out and needs replaced. The following link explains how to access and replace one:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3555716-replacing_a_turntable_motor_on_a_microwa

This is a very simple repair, that usually is not expensive. The motor usually averages about $35 - $40, but the price also depends upon the model. This repair can also be performed on an over the range model microwave oven WITHOUT uninstalling it.

You can usually purchase replacement parts at the any of the following websites:

searspartsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com

The first three sites listed offer helpful exploded view diagrams to assist you in parts location/identification. If you have any questions, please post back with your complete model number and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Have the KLH ASW10-120 Powered Subwoofer and it is blowing fuses

If it stays on for 3 seconds then it probally is not the transformer. However it may very well be the power amp no way to tell untill we operate. Call Pro Line Music 215-736-8055

A friend stupidly plugged his deck into a 120 volt power supply

More than likely the power supply / power transformer has blown. Although these units have fuses, they will not protect from such a power surge.

Have you lost power, or is the platter rotating abnormally? If there is no power, it's the power supply that needs to be replaced. If it's acting funning, then some components on the main drive PCB are damaged. In either case, professional help is highly recommended.

Went dead after power outage all other components ok

Hi there!

Power surges are common after the electricity is re-established. The reason some and not all are damaged is because the closest point or the weakest supply is normally taken out first. A job for a repair technician if your are not familiar with the inside of a TV. May just be a fuse if you are lucky. If the led comes on in standby only it is normally more serious. Good Luck,JUS004

Yamaha reciever will not power on

If the receiver is completely dead, the problem could be as simple as a blown fuse. If there is no visible fuse holder on the back panel, you'll need to remove the cover. There should be a circuit board near the rear of the chassis where the line cord attaches. You should see a small glass fuse held by clips on the circuit board. Visually inspect it for a break in the small wire inside. Alternately, check it with an ohm meter. If the fuse is blown, replace it with the same amperage fuse rated for 250 volts. (The amperage is engraved on one of the metal ends i.e 0.5A). Before replacing the fuse, do a visual inspection of the other components on the circuit board looking for any signs of burning or overheating The over voltage may have damaged other components, in which case you'll need to take it in for service or scrap it. Most Yamahas have a separate standby supply. If yours has this, chances are pretty good the damage is limited to this area. If the main supply is damaged, it may not be worth fixing.
