There are a few reasons for both elements to stop working.
1. a bad overheat sensor
2. a bad oven control
3. a defective wire or terminal
The most expensive repair would be the oven control. If a service person does change the oven control... "make sure" they use a temp probe to verify the oven control setting and the actual oven temp are the same.
Wow.. makes us wonder if we were supposed to jump out of the monitor and into the home and fix it. Harsh on the ratings.... If you need more information than was provided at least comment so we can try and help you.
Hi here is one more thing to think about.
If neither the oven nor the broiler heats, but the range burners still work, the clock may be set for a timed or self-cleaning cycle. Check to be sure the clock buttons and knobs are set properly. If your clock has a knob that says "push for man(ual)," push the knob in and try heating the oven and broiler again. If they still don't work properly, you probably have a defect in the thermostat, selector switch, or common wiring.
Note… If the oven doesn't have a separate bake/broil/etc. selector switch, the problem is often with the thermostat. It's not easy to check the selector switch or thermostat for proper operation. If you suspect a problem with either of these, call a qualified appliance repair technician. If you wish to attempt repairs just remember once the chassis is opened there are numerous areas that have live voltage terminals even with the controls in the off position. .

Usually a safety thermostat, but it can also be wiring, a control board, or a dlb relay. Call Kitchen Aid warrantee service on this, as some of the electonics have a longer warrantee on them. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists.

I did a little more investigation and removed the access panel on the back of the machine. I was getting strange readings from the wires that go to the elements so I cut open a shrink tube and discoved a fuse identical to the fuse in a microwave. I replaced the fuse and the range now works perfectly. Thanks for your suggestions.
