My printer won't print in color

Check your color ink levels, the cartridge may need changing.

If they are fine check in the printer settings that you have both color and black cartridges are selected to print from.

Enter control panel, click on Printers (may differ for you), right click your HP D4360 and select properties, you will see a maintenance tab, select the tab and search for Ink Cartridge Settings. In there you can choose what cartridges to print from.

The names of the tabs may differ slightly as its not the exact model I have previously worked with.

I can't get labels to print within the label boundries with my HP Deskjet D4360 printer. It is a printer problem, but I thought you might have the solution. I love the printer, but I use a lot of...

All printers have a "non-printable area" at the four edges of the sheet. If you labelling program doesn't allow you to specify how wide this area is and subtract it from the layout, you'll have difficulty printing inside the boundaries of the first and last label across the sheet. Similarly the top and bottom labels might not be complete.

My HP4360 Printer will print from the internet and print pictures from my documents but will not print text from microsoft word.

Firstly check the print settings from the microsoft word print option dialog box (you'll see this after you press the print in the winword) and from "Print what" option, select "Document" as shown below ; 4993d81.jpg
And then give the print command. Keep your printers updated, make sure you spooling is running in the task manager, you can check this by opening the task manager - processes - and from the available processes check whether spoolsv.exe is running. In rare cases, this is caused when there're many programs running on the system (overloaded). Make sure that you have enough memory (Ram). Check the usb connection. I recommend the first step, good luck. If you want further reference, please visit microsoft's website for more details on how to troubleshoot printer print failure. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826862 good luck.

My computer can not find the printer - Windows Vista

If your printer is wireless you will still need to hook it up to the computer using a USB wire. You also need the printer install disk, called a driver that came with the printer. If you don't have the disk, don't worry. You can download it for free. Just google the name of the printer followed by the word driver. Then follow the prompts to down load it and load it into your computer..

Printing fades during the print job. Dark at beginning, gets lighter to unreadable.

Is the ink cart. good? If not, replace.
Are the Print Heads cleaned? If not, run the diag to clean.
Does this happen on all print jobs? (documents, images, etc..)
If not, then try to adjust the properties of the print driver to a lesser quality.
Sending higher quality print jobs takes up memory, try to increase your page file.

Brandnew hp deskjet d4360 and it's not printing dark enough at all.

Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
