    For installing local printer, you may follow the steps given below:

    1. First, Click on the Start button in your screen, further click on Control Panel button and then double click on Devices and Printers button.
    2. Then click on Add a Printer button in the menu.
    3. Further select the Add a local printer button from the available menu.
    4. Then choose an existing USB Printing port and click Next button .
    5. Now click on Windows Update Button. Few minutes later it will give you list of printer that windows update has.
    6. Select HP then Select HP Deskjet 1220c as your printer and proceed further till finish.

If your running windows 7 try this place the driver file on your desktop and right click on it and choose trouble shoot compatibility. windows will ask if you want to use recommended settings, or try additional options choose try additional options. it will then ask you if it worked on another os, choose vista service pack 2 , then click the start program button, this will start the install shield in vista compatibility mode. and follow the wizard thru the installation. Reboot and that should solve your issue.

Driver for hp deskjet F380,windows7 compatible
Please check the windows 7 compatability list to see if your F380 is supported under the Windows 7 OS. Find the hardware list here: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx

If the 380 is listed, there will be additional information there ... if it is not listed, you are probably out of luck using this printer with your nedw OS.

I have a hp Deskjet 1280 but have lost the installation disc. Could you assist me to install it on my newly purchased PC?
First thing to do is go here:

Deskjet 1280 Downloads

Select your operating system from the list of choices.

A list of available drivers & software will then be given. Under the Driver click on "Download".

When the download window opens, select Save and then save it to your Desktop for ease of installation.

Once the download is complete, power on the printer, but DO NOT CONNECT the data cable.

Run (double-click) the file on your desktop that you downloaded. Connect the cable only when prompted by the software.

If you have any problems, just Comment back.
