It depends on you operatng system- you have a mac or a PC? Which version of wondows or OSX?

You must firmly insert the cables that connects b/w PC and printer or buy new connector. Or, you may reinstall the driver..

please lubricate the rod that the print head slides on, 3 in 1 oil or sewing machine oil work best. Just a couple drops on either side of the carrier will allow it to move easier.

Dust problem

Turn the printer on.
Lift the lid that covers the print-head mechanism.
Wait for the print-head to slide to the position at which the ink-cartridge(s) can be removed.
Press down on the ink-cartridge, to "unlock" it from the print-head.
Gently remove it.
Insert a new/refilled ink-cartridge, and "lock" it into place.
Print a "test" page.

It seems like you are out of ink....

There is no easy fix for restoring the ink levels on this kind of printer, but if you just want to end the annoying alert about ink level you simply have to do the following:
- Go to Start - Printers - Right click on your printer - Properties - Ports -and here you need to tick off the bidirectional support item.
Now you wont get more annoying messages from the printer.

All printers have a "non-printable area" at the four edges of the sheet. If you labelling program doesn't allow you to specify how wide this area is and subtract it from the layout, you'll have difficulty printing inside the boundaries of the first and last label across the sheet. Similarly the top and bottom labels might not be complete.

just once again restart printer and then open cartidge and then install it once again
