Internet explorer 7.0 keeps crashing after installing the hp photosmart c7280 printer. Please help. NEW pc. No problems until printer installed.

You need to install the correct driver for your printer, this problem occurs when you try to load 32 bit drivers on 64 bit windows edition, To download the drivers click on the link below, it will download the full driver and software for your printer,

Go to the HP website and download the latest drivers and solution center. Unistall the old ones, and install the new ones. Good Luck.

Try holding down the ok -- cancel -- black -- color buttons with 4 fingers while at the same time powering the unit off. Keep them held down till it is off. Then turn it back on normally & it should try to do "Maintenance" & you hear a whirling noise --- that is the ink pump spinning to try & pump in ink to the print head.
You may also try this: Press and hold the '*' key on the key pad, then press the '#' key and release them both. Then enter '123' to enter maintenance mode. Then press the right arrow (beside the OK button) until System Config. menu appeared on panel. Then press OK two times to clear the error condition, then cancel two or three times to return to the top menu. Then power it off and back on.

are using a refilled cartridge?
if yes, install an actual brand new one.

are you using an official cartridge that you've had laying around for a while?
the cartridges expire so check if your cartridge has expired and replaced accordingly.

You will need a cable, an ethernet cable. hook one end into the modem, and the other into the printer.

I have had a similar problem that appeared soon after an automatic HP software update over the internet. I solved the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the HP software that came with the CD. I inserted the CD and ran the de-install for only the program that controlled print and scan and then re-installed the software for print and scan. Straight afterwards, the scanning started to work again

dirver conflict, completely remove from OS, take off network and see if HP works independently well. reset on network and share again.
