My Canon Pixma IP1980 print has lines and color is not even, to much green.

I have refilled my canon iP 1980 printer catridges and I am currently encountering 2 problems:

a) The notification telling me that the ink is running low wil not dissapear.

b) There are lines across my documents when I print them. Those lines resemble those that occur when the ink is running out. however, I have already refilled it twice and am quite sure that the catridge is now full.

Please help--your advise will be greatly appreciated.

I have a Canon PIXMA iP100 printer. I refilled my Canon PGI 35 ink tank and the sensor did not reset so it still says that it has no ink. Is there a way to reset the sensor so the cartridge will work?

Nope. The ink levels cannot be reset on refills for this type of cartridge. As long as your printer still prints you should be good. If it doesn't print you either need to go get another refill or a Canon brand cartridge.

Blinking

press the orange light of the printer for about 10-15 seconds. Print a sample. If your cartridge is refilled for about 3 to 5 times. Better buy a new one then modify it to continous one, this is to save you money from refilling again and again and also for good print quality.

Refilled Ink cartridge but the printer says there is no Ink

you refilled or purchased a new cartridge? If you refilled ; did you do it after the printer told you it was out? The cartridge electricial would have to be reset. How to do that is a guarded secret for Canon. Buy a Canon One and replace Cartridge, would one on solution.
