Purchased Panasonic KX-TG6431 with total 4 headsets ( dect 6.0 cordless)Caller id not wkg disply-registration required ( In India ).Although on same line we have been using Pansaonic kx-tg3521bx cordless 2.4 ghz and cordred phone successfully with caller id.What is the solution.

The caller ID standard in India is different than the US standard. Contact Panasonic to see if your phone can be made compatible.

Well if the phone has been bought abroad and being used in India you will face this problem. this is because of the format of transmitting the caller id info being different. In USA it is STF and in India it is DTMF. You need a convertor in the phone line which is DTMF to STF. IF you find onw in Delhi pl let me also know.

Were those other instruments purchased in India? The problem is that the U.S .uses a different"signal" to send caller ID than India.

US phones use Bellcore FSK caller id. India uses DTMF caller id. Buy a DTMF- FSK converter at a telecom shop.
