Sounds like you may have a bad power supply board. You can find a service manual at http://www.techlore.com/. Go about half way down the page and to the right and I think it says get manuals. Click on that and I think they have a free one. You may have to join the site to get it be its free to join. Hope this is helpful.

I have a 92 nissan stanza ex. Need to know the location of the diagnosis control unit is.

Oh boy, you are in for a learning curve. I spent the better part of a year getting to know the Nissan system of computer controls, diagnostic procedures, everything about Sentras from the mid eighties to the mid nineties. Your Stanza is very similar, fortunate for you to have a '92 with somewhat more sophisticated controls than my primitive '87 model. I even had to deal with a computer controlled carburetor-more headaches than I care to recall.

First, Jack, you have to find the computer, which is the diagnostic unit and the little LED light or lights on it are the blinkers that blink out the trouble codes. The computer on mine is under the passenger front seat. If not there, it will be behind the glove box or in the center console. So you locate it and set it in mode 4- for code read outs. That is the diagnostic mode. There are 5 modes, you can read the short paragraph about it in the link I will give. It's really easy, there are only 16 codes in all. Here is the link with all details and short description of codes.

LED Indications

The front panel Status LED provides an indication of

the set's operation and the possible cause of a malfunction.

If an abnormal condition is indicated, perform the

Self Diagnostics procedure.

Self Diagnostics

To activate, press the front panel <ACTIVITY> &<CH

??> buttons at the same time and hold for 5 seconds.

The STATUS LED will then flash denoting a two digit

code.

• The number of flashes indicates the value of the

MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.

• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2

second.

• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the

(ones digit) of the Error Code.

• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.

Example: If the Error Code is "23", the LED

will flash two times, pause, and then flash three

times.

Table 2-2: LED Indications

Error Codes, descriiptions and the most likely cause of

the error are listed in Table 2-3.

Note: The TV must be in "Shut Down." The LED

will probably be indicating an abnormal

condition. If the TV is switched Off, AC is

removed, or a System Reset is performed, the

code automatically resets to "12" No Error.

See the Error Code Log to retrieve a history of

errors.

Note: Use the front panel buttons, not the remote

control.

Note: If there is no response, the front panel may be

locked by a V-Chip setting. To unlock, press

and hold <ACTIVITY> on the front panel for

8 seconds.

How do you know if computer on front load washer is broken

It would either give you a an error code like F1 or the unit would have no power going to the control unit and you would have no led's lit up on the control itself. If you have any further questions message me back you can also put your unit into diagnostic test mode by clicking this link which tells how to acess the diagnostic menu http://www.ehow.com/how_5545508_access-error-codes-ge-washers.html I await your reply If you have any further questions Thanks Rick

My Fisher paykel dryer does not heat

Thermostat Cutout – Manual Reset (Electrical)
Type SPST 30 Amps/240 Volts AC
Trip Temperature 212°F (100°C)
Diagnostic Mode
Entering the Diagnostic Mode
(a) Turn the power supply to the dryer on.
(b) Press and hold the Auto Dry down button, then press the Power
button.
The dryer is now in level 0 of the diagnostic mode. After initial entry into the
diagnostic mode, the Start/Pause button operates the dryer as normal. Press
the Auto Dry up or down buttons to scroll through the fault levels.
There are several levels of diagnostics, most of which are used in
development and production. These levels may bring on various LEDs, but
the level of use for the service technician is that of the last fault.
Last Fault
To enter the last fault diagnostics, enter the diagnostic mode as described
above, then press the Auto Dry up button three times. The last fault will be
displayed on the drying progress LEDs
Conductivity Contact Impedance Check
To enter the conductivity contact impedance check, enter the diagnostic mode
as described above, then press the Auto Dry up button five times. In this
mode, touching damp clothes or fingers across the conductivity contacts will
cause the LED display to change. If the contacts, or the harness to them,
have gone open circuit, no change will occur in the LED display. This is a
useful method of checking the integrity of the sensor circuits.
To exit the diagnostic mode, press any cycle button.
Entering the Data Download Mode
(a) Turn the power supply to the dryer on.
(b) Press and hold the Auto Dry down button, then press the Power
button. This enters the diagnostic mode.
(c) Press the Regular button.
Encoded data is transmitted serially out the red Auto LED, and is be captured
by an optical download pen attached to a PC where “Smart Tool” software
interprets the data to aid servicing.
To exit, press the Regular button.
Entering the Showroom Mode
(a) Turn the power supply to the dryer on.
(b) Press and hold the Air Dry button, then press the Power button.
The LEDs will flash in a random sequence.
To exit, turn off the power supply to the dryer at the wall.
Tell me what sort of faults codes you can come up with and I will tell you what it means but in the meantime reset the limit and clean out the lint problem, open the stopped up vent. That dryer has to breath or that safety will kick out again. I have the manual

SAMSUNG TXS3082WHX/XAA Won't Turn On

All of these tv's are board replacement only the individual parts are not available. The boards can cost anywhere form $200 - $400 each. Even if you do it yourself it is still an expense, if you get the blink code i can point you to the correct board. These sets have different boards even within the same model range. One of the first diagnostics is does the back light come on, if not then you either have a balancer error or a bad bulb in the panel. Why i suggest this is because it is the most common problem. If it is the bulb in the panel you have to replace the whole panel, the bulbs are not available as an individual part.

My Hitachi 50V710 has both indicator lights blinking and does not display any image. Temp LED and Lamp LED. But I hear the fan running and the lamp is the same I've always had. Whats wrong?

With both LED's flashing sounds like a bad lamp to me. Not uncommon for Hitachis LCD projections to have that symptom. Cjeck your owners manual for the light flash code. Good luck..
