MY TELEVISION WENT OFF AND I THINK IS THE LAMP

Ur tv have been on using like 4 or 5 hours a day?This tv have not been replaced it projection lamp?The lamp in the tv used like a 1 or 1 1/2 years?The projection lamp life is over,replace the lamp.

Those lamps can be pretty touchy and susceptible to temperature changes and finger prints. Also some discount lamp dealers can accidently sell you the wrong lamp. Something simple and dull to try is to take that lamp out and put it back in, check that the connections are seated properly and the air pathway from the fans is clear.  If the fans were dirty and you put in a new bulb that worked for a while it may have burned out prematurely.

yeah ive had this tv for 4 years replaced lamp when i got it then about a year ago there was a but power surge that ruined 2 pc monitors and that lamp just google WD-62827 replacement lamp pick a place to buy from the only tool you'll need is a phillips screwdriver

I went to another tech site and saw a suggestion to unplug the TV for a couple hours and then plug back in to see if this helped, but they also indicated this could be a serious power problem. I was really concerned, but tried it and it worked! I think it was running some kind of diagnostics after the new lamp was placed. Back up and running!

i think its the colorwheel you heard go pop... replace it and you should be good to go

you dont reset it the ballast for the bulb took a ****.. i paid 300 for a new bulb and wasnt the problem then paid 150 for new ballast now i think the light engine went bad geeze

Most likely your lamp has failed and your owners manual will show how to replace the lamp.

Most likely the lamp failed, check your owners manual for instruction on the lamp replacement.

maybe you have lost contact at the lamp circuit! or check the lamp circuit.
