hello are you using a digital antenna, cable or satelite reception? you need to run your "set up" and scan for channels either automatically scan or manual scan, recomend a auto scan for all channels both digital and anolog, these tv will scan and save or store the channels but you need to run a channel scan first,
(even if your using a cable box or sat box)
back when we had the older anolog sets you could just plug it in and watch but with these new digital circuts need to scan and store the channels in before you can watch the broadcasts,, try that let me know what happens. hope this helps
this is what i can tell you your tv has 2 boards a main one and a power supply one anything that has to do with your imputs tv, av, hdmi, etc has to do the main that includes the picture going off and sound you can contact the manufacturer and tv technicians, but the only place that its going to be cheap its at www.shopjimmy.com guaranteed
There are two possibilities: either the channel memory has been lost due to the TV being unplugged for an extended period or the digital tuning system has a defective component. First thing to do is go into the TVs menu system and try to re-scan the channels. You may find that you can change channels after doing this. If its still not changing channel, the digital tuning board will have to replaced.
i have the same box and notice the same problems it is just becaus anolog siginals are crappy and the way the box converts the things causes the problem. nothing can be done. :(
