Why is my 600watt amp hitting hard but my br as nd new pioneer900 watt is barely makin speakers move I have to turn bass up on radio then it's distorted as nd not hitting at all

First make sure everything is wired correctly, correct polarity and channels. If the amp is a 2/4 channel and 800 watts @ 2ohms, then you would wire your dual voice coil sub at 2 ohms to match the amps output. Same thing if your amp was at 4 ohms, it all depends on how you wire it. Now if your running door speakers off the amp then I would put in an equalizer to better tune it and make sure the amp is set at the proper channels with correct polarity. Double check to make sure your ground, power, and remote wire are getting a good connection

I have 12 volts constant on my power wire coming from my battery but when I connect the p.cont. wire to the amp the voltage drops out. The green indicator light comes on for a split second then fades away...

Your P.cont is not hooked up to a correct power source... Make sure that you dont have it possibly hooked up to the power antenna wire by mistake. The p. cont. (remote turn on) should always send constant power one the key is turn on in the vehicle.

I have this hooked up and works fine with the key on, but when i start the car, sub light, amp and sub dont come on.

You have connected it to the wrong power wire - one that is only active in service mode - first key position.
You should draw a wire directly from the battery (don't forget to add a 40 amps fuse on the wire) to the amps. If you don't want them constantly operational (you will have to manually shut them down) install a relay on the wire with the command coming from a wire from the instrument key position - second position of the key. Use a voltmeter to identify the wires.

I have a Lanzar Vibe 235 amp. the green power light is not coming on, but the red "protect" light is. how do i solve this problem??

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Time to purchase an old school Lanzar Opti Drive. Any of them. The 50 will kill some 12" subs .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. lanzar-vibe-235-amp-green-power-shonxoarcym4awy4zl1imx4o-2-0.jpg Lanzar

Protection light comes on. what is it and how do i fix it

Wire connection is not right or the power source is not enough. Make sure the radio wires connected to the car are correct and that the usually blue and white REM wire from the radio is connected to the REM position in amp. Power source must be straight from battery not from anywhere else. Ground wire should be connected any metal bolt in trunk or to a new hole drilled into frame. Also make sure that the wires for speakers are running on 1 side of the car and the power is on the other side, never together on same side of car. Hope this helps.

Thumping speakers - no power light is on - wired correctly

the amp is going into protect mode due to something wrong in the amp or some thing in the wiring to it ooh yea if you are getting 18v power to the amp that is way to high it should not be higher then 15v if the amp is in protect mode it will not play at all.

Disconnect all speaker wires and signal cables from the amp. If it powers up (no protect light), the wiring needs to be checked. If it still shuts down (goes into protect), the amp likely has blown output transistors.
