I have a 4 channel Kicker amp, sub is bridged (svc 4ohm) and I have (4) door speakers (4ohm each) running on two of the channels, I have a android head unit and it's in a 08 Silverado, whenever the truck is 1st started, the speakers emit a chirping sound and the amp goes into protect mode, if you turn off the truck and restart it, most of the time protect mode goes off and then after around 15 minutes it goes into protect again and starts chirping, and again you can stop, turn off the truck and restart it and it will be fine again, any idea what my issue is?
If you connected speakers in parallel then two speakers have combined resistance of 2 ohms. You need to connect speakers in series

My solo baric L7 needs a new rubber lip
Hello saladinmali,
I'm sorry to hear that your sub was vandalized.
I'd start directly with Kicker and ask if they sell a replacement "surround" for the sub. If so, they will also have removal and installation instructions. Email them at:
[email protected]. Or call (405) 624-8510. A user installed surround would be the least expensive and should run no more than $40-50. If Kicker does not sell a repair kit and requires that you return the sub to them for repair, expect to pay shipping both ways, as well as for the repair itself. My estimate would be about $125-150 total.
Hope this helps.

My Kicker amp will not turn on. I have checked the
DISCONNECT THE RCA INPUTS AND THE SPEAKER. INSURE THAT THE POWER AND ESPECIALLY THE GROUND WIRE IS 100%. ALSO MEASURE THE VOLTAGE AT THE REMOTE TERMINAL TO INSURE IT IS NOT LESS THAN 11 VOLTS. IF YOU CANNOT MEASURE IT, THEN FOR TESTING PURPOSES, SIMPLY DISCONNECT THE REMOTE FROM THE RADIO AND INSTALL A JUMPER FROM THE POSITIVE POWER TERMINAL TO THE REMOTE LEAD AND THIS SHOULD POWER IT UP. IF IT STILL DOES NOT POWER UP, THEN IT WILL NEED TO BE SERVICED. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE....V

Ineed help with wiring a kicker 10in comp sub to a razor RZR1-2500D amp i cant get it tuned
First, that amp, has too much power for that sub. Even though it isn't really outputting 2500 watts, (realistically putting out 650 watts). That sub is only rated to handle 150 RMS, 300 Peak, 1000 watts will blow that sub very quickly.
First thing you need to do is find a sub which better matches the output of your amp.
The second thing, you need to make sure that your vehicle's electrical system is able to handle the additional current draw.
Address these things before you install your gear.
I've been a 12v installer for going on 28 years
