so first tv is analog ?you need a second converter box if you want to be able to watch different channels at the same time on the two analogue tv'sYou could put an antenna splitter in .So could put an antenna splitter in on .antenna to feed to second analogue to digital converter box.Also depends on signal strength may need to amplify antenna signal - check tv antenna mast head amplifierthe tv signals are digital only most likely

converter output be careful check second tv has hdmi input as converter output has to match what tv can cope with.

Your TV will require a Digital Converter Box to recieve over the air Digital Television Signals. You will need to hook up the antenna to the converter box and then hook your converter box to the TV. Hooking your television directly to a digital antenna will not get you Digital signals...only analog signals.

you need to get either a better rooftop antenna or an amplified adapter . it is undetermine which stations will come in for digital.

When a black box appears on the screen it means that your closed captions are on and set to TEXT. When the closed captions are set to CC1, it puts the words on the screen and when set to TEXT it puts a black box in the center of the screen. Go into the set's menu, navigate to the closed captions page and set the captions to OFF.

you have accendly turned on closed caption. the closed caption you have tured on is not the normal closed caption we are used to . it is called colsed caption text. either on your remote or in you manu, find the way to turn off cc & you should work ok. good luck.
