does it have a switch on the outside, if so flick it It should have a little nubby switch right there. You pull it down to lock, up to unlock.if not then You can replace the switch by placing a piece of tape over the gap in the unlocked position.
The Sansa will only show photos and play videos from its internal memory, not the microSD card. You can put music on the card, but not photos or videos.
Go to the Sansa website, and get the Sansa recovery tool: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.asp
Go ahead and do this, in case you have Windows Media Player 11 or the DB is corrupted:
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
GO TO SANDISK.COM THEN TYPE YOUR MODEL NUMBER IN THE SEARCH BOX. ex: e200, e250.. PRESS ENTER AND CLICK ON THE PICTURE OF THE SANSA YOU HAVE THEN SCROLL DOWN TO THE RIGHT HAND SIDE YOU WILL SEE " SUPPORT, DOCS AND MORE" CLICK ON IT THEN CLICK ON SANSA MEDIA CONVERTER, IT WILL TAKE YOU TO A LOGIN PAGE CLICK SKIP REGISTRATION AND UPLOAD IT FROM THERE. IF YOU STILL CANT FIND IT CALL 1866SANDISK FOR SUPPORT AND THEY WILL WALK YOU THROUGH IT
