SOURCE: open buffalo ministation case...did you figure it out?
haven't figured it out yet then here's how.... undo the four obvious screws. The ni the mifddle at both sides there's tow 'stick out' bits from the attached to the middle sides on the bottom bit of the case. First you pull the two ends up and twist a bit and use more force than you think you should. CRACK it comes apart. Next itme, better if you do this first time, push a small screwdriver carefully against the grey liner in the mifddle at one side whilst holding open the tow end on the same side. Less of a crack and less force but more hands needed and it open. Cheers from Knobcottage

SOURCE: Fellowes C120-CShredder Full but I can't pull the plastic bin out
Yeah, you can take the top off.... My C-220 had three screws under the front top area, and then two snap-out tabs at the top back area. It was easy.

Check the back of the drain tray make sure there are no grinds. Then we will have to test the micro switches, remove the drain tray and dregs drawer, insert tray without the drawer, to see if you get an error. A more complicated way is to have the door open place tray minus drawer in machine, then using a small stray or plastic knife, activate the microswitches.
SOURCE: I have a shredder from Staples and need to know if
A shredder at our office had the same problem. Take out the bin & turn the shredder upside down. There is a sensor on the bottom that looks like two led lights. If it is covered with paper dust, the shredder will think the bin is full. It might work if you simply wipe it off.
The sensor can be hard to find if it is really dusty, so just wipe off the entire pottom really well.
