How do I get Bissell Proheat 2X to work. Not dispensing water.

Unit not dispensing water when handle is pressed. I cleaned the jets, rollers and vacuum. Looked at solenoid, appears to be working. Water not moving from tank. Cleaned tank port also. Jets were clogged with calcium, rollers full of debris, and vacuum is working fine. Any ideas?

Did you clean the filter on the water tank. It's generally a red screen type device. Additionally, there is a filter under the Flow Indicator, unscrew the cap, lift out the propeller, lift the filter screen and clean it. Reassemble in reverse order. If you occassionally run one and half cups of white vinager through the machine it will clean out the calc buildup. Additionally, the filters should be cleaned after each use.

My Bissell ProHeat 2X CleanShot Upright Deep Cleaner, 9500; flow gauge will not spin and the machine is not dispensing solution with both the solution and water tank full. I have cleaned all inlets where...

No what it means are the tubes that carry the solutions are plugged and most likely full of old detergent that hardened. You will need to clean all the plastic tubing out for the dispensers. When your done using the machine always run clean water only through the dispenser and tube to flush out the detergents.

I can't get the brushes to rotate and the water to spray on the bissel pro heat 2x.

I have a Proheat 2X and had the same problem. I tried the Water Rinse setting and found water came out and was suctioned properly, but on the Light Clean, Normal Clean, and Heavy Traffic settings, the unit failed to do anything. Problem may be with leaving the soap dispenser in-place, which might scum up the tubing.

SO, an alternative to throwing out my unit and buying somethign else was to put one capful of the Bissell soap in the water resevoir and keep the unit on Water Rinse. IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY NOW. Don't know if this will help, but at least I didn't have to buy a new unit. Rinse everything after using and there's been no problem.

Bissell 8920 won't release fluids at the rollers

I have an 8920 ProHeat 2x as well with the same issue - no spray at the rollers. Seeing that the hand tool worked I checked the finger switch for continuity and it was good. Turns out the red spray heads that clip into the unit just under the water tanks were the culprit. I popped those off and ran a paper-clip through them from the front. I must have contaminated the fresh water tank while emptying the grey tank. Works better than ever now, just thought I'd share what my issue turned out to be.
