cyan drum potential sensor bad or dirty or cyan drum need to be replace worse case print control board!!!


first try cleaning the sensor located behind each drum so remove the cyan one, it near the front looking at machine from the left side of the middle section, its a sliver/chrome looking with a tiny square hole use a clear brush mite as well remove them all do the same, should be done during 250,000 PM kit install. If not that switch drums, then switch sensor all the same, last control board $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You hit a serious code, noting can be done, this code requires a tech to come out and remove a chip inside the machine, which is then sent to Konica Minolta, then on to the US SECRET SERVICE since someone attempted to counter fit US currency!!!!!!!!!!!, until the US Secret Service determines what was done the machine stays inoperative , once what happen is determined tech will come out reinstall the chip reload firmware, and .NEVER EVER PLACE ANY CURRENCY ON A COPIER all the machine now a day have Bank Note chips..


You machine is also a legacy Konica machine so I don't know what Konica Minolta technician will do.

Unfinished calibration. have you had the developer and drum recently replaced. I believe what happen was the developer replacement procedure was not followed, or the control board drum sensor have a problems/developer unit. Have a Konica Minolta Technician look at it. When was last PM performed.

Beings as it is close to 100k, it is due for a PM (preventative maintenance) kit to be installed (this model has a 100k PM cycle), and also a web, corona wires, charge grid, and feed rollers (if worn) should be replaced at this point, and of course cleaned.

The drum and developer "should" last 200k (this can vary greatly).

$200 for a general cleaning on that series machine... that's entirely too much, and he will most likely tell you it's due for a PM. A competent technician would be able to install the kit, replace the above parts in under 2 hours easily.

I wish I could be of more help, but given that is almost at the end of its PM cycle, it could be anything.
