I have an sony xplod 4 channel 600 watt amp

First are they in the same box? If so and they are sharing the same air space running one amp to both is best andwill perform better. One woofer could be over powering the other and or you could have a woofer problem. A lso your wiring coul be problem. When amp is bridged it changes the OHM reading and output your other woofer may not be rated at or able to handle a lower Ohm rating also it coul blow that woofer if it hasn't already hapened . Be careful. check woofers independently for operation and check the non performing woofer on an unbridged power source or amp. Hope this helps. Write back if not.

Can you replace the cooper coil inside a subwoofer sony xplod 12 inch

No sony doesn't not make repairable subs. I suggest avoiding sony xplod everything, they are nothing but problems. For subs try to go for Cerwin vega, rockford fosgate, clarion. The rockford fosgate is the best and when giving the power will tear apart your car and having you jamming all day long

What kind of noise it will bang or should i go with class d amps

If you run a pair of subs to each amp at a 4ohm bridged load per amp you will get the full power of the amps delivered to your subs-roughly 450 watts per sub as punch amps are all under rated-that sh%&t gonna bump hard - thats an incredible setup from an equipment standpoint- i run 1600watts on a pair of 15z and its freaking obnoxiously LOUD and yours will be moving more air than my 15s so it should be just mind numbing - go for it !!!!!!!!

Sub not very loud

Hey buddy your question caught my eye because i have a buddy that was wondering the same thing not so long ago-and im no expert but i have had my run with rockford fosgate amps and a few sonys as well. So first of all if you know fosgates well you know that they ALL put out more power than what they are rated at -example your 400 watt fosgate amp is rated at 400 watts but if you got it new than it came with a birth sheet that shows you how much its really putting out-im just throwing a number out there but its probably closer to 480 actual watts. Now you get the sony amp and it says its a 1000 watts but its all bs -it actually is rated at 400 continous usable watts- so the reason that its not any louder than the fosgate is because you bought an amp with almost identical power output. The other part of the problem is that you are limited by your speaker-you could buy an amp that actually puts out 1,200 watts and plug it right in to your sub and its going to probably blow within 30 seconds or quite possibly catch fire. The numbers when dealing with car audio that you have to pay attention to are the R.M.S. power ratings - never look at the peak or max wattage because its all bs and yea its all bs- As i was saying you are going to be limited by your sub because as it stands right now you cant put much more power on that thing without blowing or roasting the coil. All subs have a limiting factor as to how much air they can move- this is called X-MAX and that tells you how far the speaker cone actually moves from start to peak excursion- once you have supplied the speaker with enough power to reach its x-max then thats it -no matter how much power you put on it it wont move any more air than that-and you will create heat and distortion if you try and thats just begging for a blown sub. If you want it louder than upgrade your sub to something that will move some serious air like a jl audio w7 or orion hcca subs -those subs can get it on like dammmmm or easier than that get another sub and then your moving twice as much air at a fourth of the price of buying a balls out jl w7-anyhow good luck with that

Is it enough to power to 12 volge=ahagen 12oowatss dual 4 ohms

your Volfenhag 12" subs are rated at 1200 watts they are only 600 watts rms and the Rockford punch p4004 is only 200 watts rms so the answer is yes it will work but if you get a amplifier that pushes out 500 - 600 watts rms you will love the sound from subs
there is nothing wrong with the Rockford amp it just wont pound out the bass as hard but the good news is you will never blow the subs with it
when buying amps or subs make sure to look at rms rating that is the true power they actually have ie. (sub box says 1200 watt you think powerful but if you divide it in 1/2 you actually get 600 watts rms) don't get me wrong that's a nice rating. for a sub but you will want to match that number with the amps rms rating or lower. The RMS is what makes the car pound the higher the RMS the better
hope this helps

Rockford Punch HE2 wiring question.

if your sub will handle it, bridging it will give you more power. The best thing to do is to find out how much power the amp puts out ( RMS ) and if it is in your power handling range bridge it. It sounds better and gives you a harder punch because of more power.
