Question about Rockford Fosgate P3001 Car Audio Amplifier
How do I hook up one sub to my p3001 amp? It has an A and B speaker intputs. Do I bridge it or what? Thanks
Hey i have looked over many rockford manuals,(i own a 300.1 my buddy owns a 325.1) and for there mono(.1) amps there hooked together on the inside so channel A+ and B + are cencted on the inside the amp. So you ither hook one 2ohm sub to channel A or you can hook 1 4ohm subs to channel A and 1 4ohm sub to channel B. There 2ohm stable so any lower will eventualy burn the amp out.

The first answer is the correct answer. This is a single channel amp, with two sets of terminals that run together for easier installation of dual subs, rather than having 4 wires crammed into single + & - connections. This amp can't be bridged. Since it's a single channel amp, "bridging" the wires will only give you the same power that you would have by connecting your woofer to either connection A or connection B independently.

Port A would be for the left sub and port B is for the right sub. you could also bridge but personally i think they bump louder in their own ports
