Ok.. Bridge the two sub into 4ohm than bridge to amp.

So. this how it goes.

sub1 + -
to      | |
sub2 - +
=      4ohm

           From Sub
            -          +
            |           |
amp (L) - + (R)- +

This will use the full potiental of RF 800a2 amp. I believe it like 1153 watts max out.

Hi, it does not means a thing if the tweeter and sub are in different positions or place,so far sound comes out from it.and it also depends on what you would like and how you would like your sound to be..

Connecting 8 speakers all depend on the watts and the ohms of the "rf 800 a2 Amplifier".. and the watts and ohms of the speakers that are 8 in number that will determine if speaker can get at list 50 to 100 watts each...

Find out and get back tome..

Not sure if you are getting two subs or single?

Anyways, amp is rated at 800 watts and probably under rated so it will push sub. Remember that you don't need to worry about max power, rather focus on RMS power rating.

You should get the dual 4 ohm version of subs and wire them both in parrallel and series for a 4 ohm load to that amp, Bridge the amp and your subs should be seeing about 960 watts true rms.

If it's in protect mode...the fuse you using is not stronger/powerful enough...get a higher gauge fuse and see if that works

There is nothing to reset on this amp, it has no microprocessor.

Resets for electronic equipments are for clearing any software glitches that the microprocessor uses to do complex functions. I have only seen microprocessors in a couple of Kenwood amplifiers, and I have fixed many Fosgate amplifiers including this model. If you are not gettng any sound from it, you may have a blown channel. It is the most common failure I have seen in these. If that is the problem with yours, you need to take it to a service center that works on Rockford Fosgate amps, they have output transistors that are mounted on what is called a "mesha rail" and you can not change out just the 1 or 2 that are shorted, you must replace the entire rail because the transistors can not be removed from the rail and there are no generic parts for them as well.

I hope this helps you with your problem, deciding what you can do with it. It is a very good amplifier and in most cases it is worth the repair cost. You can not get a different amplifier of the same quality for less than the repair cost which usually runs about $125 at my shop.

Let me know if I can be any more help to you.

power it off, then on...check you're fuses. unplug the car battery and try again. good luck.

Sounds like you may have shorted a power mosfet or more than one. I'm pretty sure that is what is going on. I've done it myself. I repair car amps and install car audio systems for a living. You need to test the transistors with a digital volt meter set to diode check. Let me know if you know how to do this, if not I can help you. If you need it repaired and don't know how to do it I'll be happy to repair it for you if interested. I am the cheapest you will find anywhere. People send me their amps from all over the U.S and Canada. Good luck and hope to hear from ya!
