Emerson Microwave MW9117W. Timer Counts down and turn table stops, but continues to hum as if microwave is still running. Have to unplug to stop it. Anyone know what problem is? Thanks

We spoke yesterday. You have 10 Power Levels Nora from 10% power and in 10% increments all the way up to 100% Power. You didn't read the manual did you? :>D I just did and here it it is on the page you need to read.

Sounds like a door switch is not closing; either primary or secondary. You could have either a bad switch, or the latch assembly is not aligned properly.

The microwave has a short. You need to replace it, there's no real fix for it. Keep it unplugged and dispose of it. It will eventually catch on fire, and this isn't an exaggeration.

if you like your micro fixe it, becouse even do new micros look better when it comes to work they suck they hardly last the warranty period thats if you are lucky...

open it up check the battery in microwave replace check fuse replace then put back together then you should be fine.

I have a FNCB115GC Microwave problem. The microwave has a icon on the left hand side of the panel that looks like a opened book on a stand with lines on top. This is best that I can descibe it. The microwave turntable does not move or the microwave does to come on but the light comes on and the timer will count down. I have cleared the microwave and unplugged it with no results. there is a thermal fuse inside that is likely blown.
easy to replace just have to google bullet thermal fuse.
