Choose Graphire 3 or Graphire 4 as your tablet model. These are the CTE models. Then pick your OS and download the driver.

Had the same problem and just solved it. Very easy. Turn off your computer. Pull the power cable. Wait about 5 minutes. Plug it back in and power it back up. No more USB not working prompt in your device manager and your tablet should be back and running.

Ok so I called costumer service because mine was doing the same thing. Apparently the pressure sensor in the pen is stuck down. What you do is remove the pen tip with tweezers, blow in the open end of pen, then tap the pen (open end down) in a table to get any debris out of there. Then just put the tip back in and give it a try. That did the trick for me. Hope this helps.

I'm having this same problem with my original Graphire (ET), with a replacement pen that's less than two years old.
I don't think it's a driver issue, based on the indicator light on the tablet itself. It turns green like it's detecting a click when either end of the pen is brought near the tablet. To me, that suggests an issue with the pen hardware. The mouse has no such problem.
I'd be very interested if anyone has a solution to this.
