you can probably buy a replacement usb cord/cable from wacom. not sure if it's pluged inside or soldered. if you need to solder it - any usb cable will do it... just find a tech savvy friend or technician to do it.

I would uninstall the drivers, reboot, and let your OS install the mouse. Then try to re-install the new drivers that were released by Wacom yesterday available at the link I provided.
