Wacom Intuos Pro continues flashing a single white light, and no longer responds on any computer or with any USB cable, is it the battery or the wiring inside?

Its a Wacom Intuos Pro Small i've had since 2014, so its new and not very worn, it worked for months on my desktop mac, then i acquired the newest macbook, installed the driver and it worked there too for a while, until recently. The computer would flash messages like the USB device is using too much power and then suddenly the tablet wouldn't respond at all, with that USB Chord. I switched to a new USB chord and it worked again, for about 3 days until the same thing happened with it. No USB chord has worked since, and the tablet wont even respond on my old computer anymore. It simply flashes a single little white light on the surface by the touch wheel, and the battery light shines orange when plugged into the computer, HOWEVER when plugged into the wall it shines green indicating the battery is charged (I assume). I removed the tablet utility and the drivers half a dozen times, kept installing different version or the newer versions of the drivers on the macbook until i eventually gave up. I dont understand, it cant be the computer because the other computer doesnt read the tablet either, it cant be the tablets ability to maintain a charge because it flashes green when plugged into the wall....what could possibly be the problem?

Laptops are much more limited on the supply side for powering USB devices. This is limited by the operating system in the computer. There are some things that you can try such as a shorter cord if the cord is detachable. The cord length affects the voltage and that in turn affects the current. The OS then senses it a drops the connection. This is partly for safety and partly for battery conservation. For some time, that device was not recommended by Apple to be used for that matter. There was a bulletin issued on it but it appears that Apple did not do anything to change the situation.

SOURCE: Wacom Intuos 3 problems

Hi Bengref
Just talked to WACOM USA about a similar (but not exactly the same) problem with my Intuos 3. One of their procedures was;

go to the ALL Programs directory,

go to the the WACOM TABLET directory

open the WACOM Tablet Properties window

click on the "About" button

while holding down the CTRL key, click on the "Diagnose" button

click on the "recalibrate" button

Another procedure

go to the All Programs Directory

go to the WACOM Tablet Directory

click on the :WACOM Table Preference File Utility"

Under "My Preferences" click on remove

Good Luck

Where can i get a wacom bamboo tablet?

You can buy them new from places like Amazon or directly from Wacom. Just to confuse you more-- it used to be Bamboo, Intuos, and Cintiq. Now the entry level tablets are the Intuos, the mid-level has become the Intuos Pro, and then the Cintiq.

My Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch has stopped working randomly today. When I plug it in... It responds to and properly tracks my finger for 10 seconds... Once the wacom utility recognizes the tablet has been...

Using Windows?
Open up the Device Manager by right-clicking "This PC/My Computer" and select "Manage". On the left pane, click "Device Manager". Depending of the version of Windows you're running, the tablet could be listed under "Portable Devices" or "Mice and other pointing devices".
Once you see it, move that window off to the side so you can still see the entry for your tablet. Now use the tablet as normal until it stops working. If it disappears from the list, you've probably got yourself a wiring/hardware problem. (My tablet's cable eventually developed a bad USB cable from years of moving around/use).
Since the tablet itself still recognizes you after it stops responding on the screen, wondering if you may have updated the software/drivers lately (even by accident by clicking an "OK" dialog by rote...) - try "rolling back" the driver to an earlier version.
If this is really new, any chance you could use Window's Restore function to go back a snapshot or two to when it did work fine? Always back up your important files (say, documents/designs etc) to another drive before doing anything. Good Luck!

Where can I get a replacement USB cord for intuos 4 wacom tablet?

depends on the connector, looks like it could be a standard usb cable.
275f37eb-306f-41ad-9999-81cd08d1b925.png
if it looks like this, standard usb cable.

There is also a micro 5 pin, used on most new cellphones.

or it could be a mini usb used for most cameras.

All pretty standard, one should fit. Good luck!

Blue Light Not On

Check out your Universal Serial Bus controllers in your Device Manager. If anything is amiss there I would suggest you turn the computer off and remove the battery. That would be the equivalent of pulling the power cable. All my other devices worked as well in all USB ports. Just not my tablet. I think once the box is turned off you can hold the power button down for a minute or so which (used to anyway) guarantees all power is discharged.
