Tablet Pen Won't Release After Clicking
I have just begun to have the same issue. For me it is happening even with using the pen to open Photoshop and though it's in Photoshop where the problem begins, it isn't fixed by quitting the software. It remains click-activated for the entire system and only a restart will fix it which is very impractical. Previously the issue was that it wouldn't release the option(alt) key. Relaunching Finder would fix this issue but not the click problem. Very frustrating!
My wacom pen is selecting everything i scroll it over.
I agree with nteper. I called Wacom and was told to update drivers (Done) - no change, then called Wacom and was told to dish out $30 for a new pen... FAT CHANCE! this thing was barely used and less than 6 mos old. A few good TWACKS against my palm did the trick and guess what? I got to keep my $30 bucks. I read the issue with the piezo sensor in the pen can get impacted by the nibs if left stored upright... I will not do that again! anyway! if you have to buy a pen, might as well go "caveman" on the thing and see if it works.
Wacom tablet stopped working, blue light on.
Hey I had this problem too with my Bamboo too, I'm not sure if it was anything I changed or whatever but either way the blue light was on but it wasn't registering the pen.
I found a way just minutes ago to fix it however!
Go into 'start', 'all programs', then look for 'pen tablet'. Hopefully you should have this. If not then download the latest driver for your tablet from the wacom website and that should install it.
Next choose 'pen tablet preference file utilty'. Then under 'my preferences' choose to remove. Bingo! All was well in the world again.
This worked for me so hopefully it will for some of you guys too! Good luck!
Wacom Tablet overly sensitive
i had the exact same problems with my graphire4 pen.
take a tool to remove the tip of the pen. just blow inside the pen, put the tip back and press it in back but not too hard. works like magic!
My Tablet pen wont release, it acts like im clicking and holding
I'm just gonna pass on a email from Tech Support I recieved.
"It sounds as though your pen has pressure in proximity. This is present when the tip sensor of your pen is stuck down causing the pen to think that it’s clicking before it’s even touching anything. What you may want to try would be to remove the nib from the tip end of the pen, it pulls straight out with a pair or tweezers or your teeth, and leave that out overnight with the pen left on its side. Place the nib back in the morning and if the issue persists then you may have a defective pen tip."
The rest consists of personal info and warranty advice so I'll leave it there.
